With only 2 days to prepare the O2 arena for this major gymnastic event and 1 day to de-rig it, a team of 68 crew worked a total of 440 hours to build and de-rig an elevated platform for competitors to showcase their incredible skills.

The set up for Champions Tennis is always an exciting day, in less than 24 hours the arena will be cleared, raised, re-floored, re-lit and completely transformed from concert venue into international sports arena. A total of 72 crew for the build/derig with man hours hitting the 738 mark.
Gallowglass has been delighted to support Unusual Rigging and White Partners on both events providing 252 crew across 100 locations on 38 days for the build and derig.
We’re also proud to highlight Gallowglass Health & Safety LLP’s input where 11 of our advisers provided 1250 pages of RAMS across all the sites, which were attended by over 2,700,000 visitors with zero event related incidents.

19 UK crew boarded a cruise ship at Southampton to rig and de-rig the set designed for shooting the program at sea en route to Barcelona. It took 4,536 man hours to complete and all the while in the midst of hundreds of regular paying passengers. At Barcelona, the crew was reinforced by 9 of our Barcelona crew to complete the final de-rig over 2,016 man hours over 2 days.
