The set up for Champions Tennis is always an exciting day, in less than 24 hours the arena will be cleared, raised, re-floored, re-lit and completely transformed from concert venue into international sports arena. A total of 72 crew for the build/derig with man hours hitting the 738 mark.

We’re also proud to highlight Gallowglass Health & Safety LLP’s input where 11 of our advisers provided 1250 pages of RAMS across all the sites, which were attended by over 2,700,000 visitors with zero event related incidents.

19 UK crew boarded a cruise ship at Southampton to rig and de-rig the set designed for shooting the program at sea en route to Barcelona. It took 4,536 man hours to complete and all the while in the midst of hundreds of regular paying passengers. At Barcelona, the crew was reinforced by 9 of our Barcelona crew to complete the final de-rig over 2,016 man hours over 2 days.

Rod Stewart Tour was a concert tour by British musician Rod Stewart where we accumulated 24,322 man hours and 779 crew bookings, covered by 253 crew across the 8 venues from Plymouth to Inverness and Cardiff to Norwich (30 Birmingham, 24 Bristol, 5 Cardiff, 14 Edinburgh, 48 Glasgow, 11 Leeds, 37 Manchester, 84 London) over 27 days. With back to back show dates, 2 teams of crew chiefs leap-frogged to enable quicker rigs/de-rigs.

A late call up by the French client to set up the flooring outside the stadium for the final. 2,570 man hours played by 18 crewmen (Midlands x 2, Scotland x 3, Northern x 1, London x 12). 8 day rig and 8 day strike. Rig finished 1 day early and de-rig completed 36hrs early by Gallowglass crew chief, crew and fork lift drivers.
