Welcome to our next instalment of our Meet The Venue series where we take a closer look at The Bedouin Tent & Garden in London.
The tent was built at St Ethelburga’s as a response to 9/11. A 16-sided structure, made in Saudi Arabia and covered in woven goat's hair, the tent is ideal for meetings, workshops, training events and parties, and given to St Ethelburga’s by the Coexist foundation. Along with the stunning garden courtyard it is a real oasis in the city!
St Ethelburga is a unique space located just a stone's throw from the thoroughfare of Bishopsgate and Liverpool St. Station.
The tent is welcoming to all, bringing Eastern architecture alongside the Western heritage of the church. The word peace is written in seven different languages on the doors
It is carpeted and fully heated, with atmospheric lighting. The tent is circular, featuring cushioned bench seating around the edge. There are no tables inside, and guests are kindly asked to remove their shoes before entering.
